Community Performance Series presents SJFAZZ Collective

Event Description
The SFJAZZ Collective is an all-star jazz ensemble comprising eight of the finest performers and composers at work in jazz today. Unlike any other jazz band, the group features a changing lineup with each member hand-selected to contribute their own unique sounds, styles and voices. Tackling the material of pop music icon Stevie Wonder, The Collective will perform new arrangements of Stevie’s work along with fresh original compositions by each of the members. The San Francisco Chronicle calls them “Fierce and elegant, precise and loose-limbed, artfully balancing intricate ensembles and blazing solos.”
