WHAT IS A SOLAR ECLIPSE? A solar eclipse is a celestial event where the sun, moon, and earth line up perfectly so that the moon casts a shadow on the sun! WHAT IS A 4-H ECLIPSE WATCH? we will meet at Thompson Park Hill with everything you need to safely view the solar eclipse! The entire family is invited! Solar glasses will be provided for 4-H youth. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: Lunch at 1:00PM followed by s'more's on the bio fuel stoves, building solar viewers, build and launch rockets, and Geocaching in the park.
