Becoming a software developer is about learning a new way of thinking, not just about expertise with a specific set of tools. Students with little to no programming experience will be taught the skills to program in any language and will be introduced to a number of systems, logic gates & logic circuit basics, programming concepts, relational and logical operators, and problemsolving skills used in computing, which will be applied while learning the Python programming language. Students will learn with some of the technology practices used to solve business problems. Practice such as, an introduction to Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) and its growing importance in managing IT infrastructure components, plus learn about Big Data, analytics, and database management using Microsoft SQL and Splunk.
