Most of us, if not all of us, have been affected someway with addiction. Maybe not personally but through family, friends, associates, clients, etc... Addiction is taking control of many people from ALL walks of lives.....from the poor to the rich. There are MANY who want help, but can't afford it. If they do not have insurance or their insurance is used up (most ONLY pay for 30 days) then they have to pay out of pocket; payment up front before the help is given. if they cannot afford it they are turned away. This ride is put together by many bikers, whether in a MC, RC, Organization, or an Independent rider; helping to fight the drug addiction that is taking over OUR communities, OUR families, OUR children, OUR friends, OUR coworkers......There has been way too many deaths caused from this; we can help to keep someone alive and in recovery!! Bikers involved in the ride (if any others want to help let us know): VFW Riders Fire & Iron Cape Vincent Legion Riders Red Knights Hades Hounds Bill Rafferty & Craig DuPre - Road Dawgs many Independent riders (too many to list) Many bikers got together last night and voted on who to donate the money to and MERCY POINT CHURCH (Watertown) won the vote UNANIMOUSLY!!!!! The money donated will go to help someone get into detox, recovery and help them through the recovery..... RIDE INFO: Bikes and Vehicles are welcome!!!!
