Bats are a critical part of our ecosystem. This workshop will discuss: Basic bat biology White-nose disease Actions to protect bats Welcoming bats into your yard or farm Benefits bats provide to local gardens and agriculture Speakers include: Angelena Ross, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Mike Nuckols, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County Mike will demonstrate how easy it is to build a basic bat box!
