Tails 2 Trails: 5k Run/Walk for Shelter Animals

This fall, the Jefferson County SPCA is excited to announce a new VIRTURAL fundraiser: Tails 2 Trails: A 5K/ Walk for Shelter Animals! This two-week virtual event will start on Sunday, October 11, 2020 and end on October 25th. We will come together as a community of animal advocates — while properly social-distancing — for two weeks of hikes, runs, and walks on your choice of trail or sidewalk to support our beloved animals in need of adoption and medical attention. For a small donation of $35.00, you can support the Jefferson County SPCA by purchasing 5K tickets through Facebook or Eventbrite. Tails 2 Trails 5K t-shirts are also available for an additional donation! Be sure to use the hashtag #jcSPCAtails2trails to share your adventures! The JCSPCA is one of only a few organizations in our region able to perform consistent rescues of abused and abandoned animals, while also having access to the medical resources required to treat their needs. Much of our work is supported through private donations and fundraising efforts such as this. Our community’s passion and support during this unprecedented time is essential to our ongoing efforts to help vulnerable animals and to serve the families in need throughout our community.
