This workshop will focus on three essential considerations for students with disabilities to achieve successful transition and career development. Parents of students with disabilities are invited to explore their child’s strengths, preferences, interests, and needs as goals are established for life after high school. This workshop will explore: ? Ways to take an active role in the transition process ? Best practice for collaborating with your child’s school ? Options, resources, and programs available after high school for successful independent living college and/or career
