Workforce Connections, formerly called Workforce 2020, is an interviewing open house. Business representatives are invited attend to conduct mock interviews with high school students from around the North Country. We look to have interviewers from a variety of position backgrounds, not strictly HR representatives and therefore open the invitation to all positions within your organization.
The event presents students an opportunity to practice interviewing. In order to conduct interviews, we are seeking interviewers - that's where you come in. Your role is to conduct mock interviews / informational interviews. Students are working now to prepare a resume, cover letter and conduct research about local businesses.

The goal of Workforce Connections is to allow our local students an opportunity to
- Explore regional employment opportunities as a form of retention
- Develop communication and other skills to build strong employees
- Grow student networks in their community to increase strength of connections
- Support local workforce development initiatives in the North Country
