POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Title of Position: AG & NATURAL RESOURCES PROGRAM MANAGER
Details of Position: F/T, 40 hrs/wk, $58,500.00 - $62,500.00/salary
commensurate with experience
Locations of Position: CCE Jefferson County, 203 N. Hamilton St., Watertown, NY
About the Position:
This position will provide program and administrative leadership, management, and coordination of Agriculture & Natural Resources educational programming. In addition, the position is responsible for assisting in the development of program evaluation tools in assigned program areas; and collaborating in applied research with Cornell University and other Land Grant University faculty. This position will work under the direction and supervision of the Executive Director. The position will supervise the planning and delivery of program topics to a variety of audiences to include, but not be limited to: dairy and livestock, commercial and residential horticulture, and natural resources. This position will provide management and oversight of assigned grants and contracts, as well as assisting with the development of annual program area’s Plan(s) of Work. This position will directly supervise Ag & Natural Resources staff. This position will have some multi-County responsibilities as it relates to the delivery of certain grants from time to time.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience relevant to the role of the position.
- Writing skills including grant writing and reporting.
- Valid Driver’s License and the ability to meet travel requirements associated with this position.
- Ability to work flexible hours which may include evenings and/or weekends, as appropriate.
