About Us

Samaritan Medical Center is a 294-bed community hospital, which includes over 180 physicians in over 40 medical specialties. SMC is part of a comprehensive healthcare system in Northern New York that includes two long-term care facilities (Samaritan Summit Village and Samaritan Keep Home), Clifton-Fine Hospital (Star Lake), seven family health centers, and other outpatient services and clinics, such as OB/GYN, urology, general surgery and more. Samaritan and its team of healthcare professionals of healthcare professionals proudly serves the medical needs of our civilian and military community.
