About Us

Seniors Helping Seniors of Northern NY offers a variety of non-medical services for seniors by seniors. Our purpose is two-fold, to assist seniors to remain independent in their own homes for as long as safe and possible and to act as a resource for seniors searching for meaningful work. ''It is a way to give and to receive'', says our co-founder Kiran Yocom! The services available include: light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, transportation both local and long distance, yard work, simple repairs, gardening and relocation assistance among others.

We match seniors who have energy and compassion with other seniors, based on requested services, personality and interests. Seniors Helping Seniors offers services to seniors at affordable rates.
