DESCRIPTION:The 4th Annual Backpack Run is a professionally timed 5k/10k fundraiser on Saturday September 15th in Theresa\, NY. All proceeds benefit The Backpack Program at Indian River CSD. Every entry fee helps feed local families in need and reduce hunger in our community- this event raised over $10\,000 in the past three years\; help us reach our goal of $4\,000 in our fourth year! The 5k and 10k both start at 9am\; discounts available for under 18\, teams of six\, and military participants. Pre-register by September 13th at www.thebackpackrun.com 5k ($20) or 10k ($25) or on race day 5k or 10k ($30). All abilities welcome- come enjoy the live music on the route\, prizes for top runners\, and five water stations on a beautiful scenic route!
