Much of what he does on a daily basis\, is done behind the scenes. Mel's contributions to our community have been and will continue to be significant. He radiates boundless energy while demonstrating acts of compassion and resolute purpose to make positive change in our community for the benefit of others.\n\n \n\nTaking his duty to be a responsible member of the community to heart\, Mel has contributed his time and talents to assisting others\, both on an organizational and individual level. He is involved in a number of organizations including DPAO\, Relay for Life\, Meals on Wheels\, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church\, American Heart Association\, Salvation Army\, Volunteer Transportation Center\, Victims Assistance Center\, Watertown Urban Mission\, Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethon\, and that's just to name a few.
