Low or No Tillage Options for Vegetable Growers

Small-scale and even urban vegetable production has increasingly shown the efficacy of low and no-tillage methods for gardeners and market growers. Through dense and continuous planting, vegetable crops can be produced from early Spring through Fall. This FREE program will discuss establishment of new beds, weed control, planting methods, sources of mulch/compost, and ways to minimize labor inputs. Strategies to minimize or eliminate plastic usages will also be discussed. Veterans/Military Families are welcome and encouraged to attend!
