Join Community Performance Series for an evening with acclaimed composer, conductor, and vocalist Raquel Acevedo Klein on April 18 at 7:30 PM in the Proscenium Theater in the SUNY Potsdam Performing Arts Center. Start the evening with Polyphonic Interlace at 6:45 PM, an immersive, audience-driven sound experience where participants use their phones to activate layers of music. Built from over 40 recorded vocal lines, the piece surrounds listeners in a shared sonic environment that evolves in real time. Then, stay for a powerful live performance blending classical and electronic music, featuring Raquel Acevedo Klein alongside an exceptional ensemble of musicians. Described by The Washington Post as a “force to be reckoned with,” Raquel’s work spans the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Carnegie Hall, The Met, and collaborations with artists including Rosalía and Florence + The Machine.
