TITLE: Clinical Nursing Instructor for Adult Practical Nursing Program – Part Time
LOCATION: Jefferson Lewis BOCES Practical Nursing Simulation Lab at Globe and Samaritan Medical Center locations
RESPONSIBILITIES/
DUTIES: Provide clinical nursing instruction to adult students at various healthcare facilities. Provide lab instruction via hands-on and simulation to same students. Ability to deploy simulation-based instruction subsequent to in-service training sessions.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Science in Nursing required (will consider actively enrolled)
Unencumbered New York State license as a Registered Professional Nurse
Minimum experience two years as an RN with medical-surgical experience preferred
Current CPR/BLS card and/or instructor card
NYS Registered Nurse with valid license
Pre-Employment Assessment and NYSED Requirements of approved fingerprints prior to hire date, DASA Training and SAVE Workshop, Child Abuse Identification Workshop, and acquisition of Job Skills certification.
COMPENSATION: $45.00 per hour
STARTING DATE: As soon as possible
