Director of Programs and Professional Development

LOCATION: Jefferson-Lewis BOCES, Administration Building
Watertown, NY 13601

RESPONSIBILITES/DUTIES:
The Director is responsible for the planning, delivery, and evaluation of staff and curriculum development activities requested by component school districts and the BOCES and supervision of grants. In addition, the Director oversees the School Library System, is responsible for administering improvement programs, 21st Century instructional technologies, standard’s integration, and supports component school districts in their implementation and scoring of the State assessment program. Excellent communication skills required, along with being a team player, industrious, tactful, trustworthy in dealing with others and emphasis on exceptional customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS: New York State certification as a School District Administrator or School District Leader is required. Experience in staff/curriculum development, leading teachers and building level administration preferred.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: This is a 12-month position with a salary range of $95,000-$105,000 Commensurate with certification/experience in keeping with the current negotiated handbook.
