TITLE: Occupational Therapist (2 Positions)
LOCATION: Jefferson County Region (1 Position); Lewis County Region (1 Position, includes Pre-K Services)
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
•Provide occupational therapy services to students with disabilities as well as thoseidentified as benefiting from service
•Provide students with a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to therapy andlearning.
•Record and report student progress.
•Collaborate with colleagues in general education.
•Communicate regularly and effectively with parents.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•NYS Licensed Occupational Therapist
•Knowledge of the AOTA Standards and Practices
•Knowledge of school-based therapy
•Experience with diagnostic tools
•Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team
•Excellent written and oral communication skills
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: $54,155-56,355 annual salary commensurate with certification/experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Professional Association.
