LOCATION: Jefferson-Lewis BOCES with initial assignment in a Jefferson County Component School District
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students with disabilities as well as those identified as benefiting from service
- Provide students with a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to therapy and learning.
- Record and report student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues in general education.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents.
- NYS Licensed Occupational Therapist
- Knowledge of the AOTA Standards and Practices
- Knowledge of school-based therapy
- Experience with diagnostic tools
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: $51,671-$53,871 (22-23 rates), annual salary commensurate with certification/experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Professional Association.
