LOCATION: Jefferson-Lewis BOCES with initial assignment in the Indian River Central School District
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
? Provide occupational therapy services to students with disabilities as well as those
identified as benefiting from service
? Provide students with a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to therapy and
learning.
? Record and report student progress.
? Collaborate with colleagues in general education.
? Communicate regularly and effectively with parents.
QUALIFICATIONS:
? NYS Licensed Occupational Therapist
? Knowledge of the AOTA Standards and Practices
? Knowledge of school-based therapy
? Experience with diagnostic tools
? Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team
? Excellent written and oral communication skills
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: $52,963- $55,163 annual salary commensurate with certification/experience
in keeping with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Professional
