TITLE: Occupational Therapist
LOCATION: Jefferson County Region, Component Districts in Jefferson County
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students with disabilities as well as those identified as benefiting from service
- Provide students with a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to therapy and learning.
- Record and report student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues in general education.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- NYS Licensed Occupational Therapist
- Knowledge of the AOTA Standards and Practices
- Knowledge of school-based therapy
- Experience with diagnostic tools
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
$54,155-56,355 annual salary commensurate with certification/experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Professional Association.
