Title of Position: NUTRITION, HEALTH AND WELLNESS PROGRAM MANAGER
Details of Position: F/T, 40 hrs/wk, $60,410.00/salary

About the Position:
This position will serve as the Nutrition, Health and Wellness Program Manager for Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Jefferson County and will work under the direction and supervision of the Youth and Family Association Issue Leader. This position will provide direction, organization, coordination, and management of all aspects of the Nutrition, Health and Wellness Programs, to include, but not be limited to: SNAP-Ed, including policy, systems, and environmental change program initiatives, Change Club through NIH, the NC Fruit and Vegetable Prescription Program, Healthy Alliance – 1115 waiver program, and other Nutrition, Health and Wellness Educational Programs administered by Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Jefferson County (i.e. general nutrition, local food and/or food insecurity). This position will provide management and oversight of all grants and contracts (i.e. NIH, Gus NIP, SNAP-ED, Healthy Alliance (1115 waiver program), will provide management and coordination of Nutrition, Health and Wellness marketing initiatives for assigned Nutrition, Health and Wellness Programs, and will be responsible for the implementation of innovative Nutrition, Health and Wellness programming, both on-site and off-site in accordance with the Nutrition Program Area’s Plan of Work. This position will provide coordination and management for all referrals and outreach initiatives for the Nutrition area. This position will directly supervise Association Subject Educator I positions (4.0), additional nutrition staff as needed, provide oversight to Association volunteers and interns in the Nutrition Program Area, and mentoring and observations for all assigned Program staff.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience relevant to the role of the position.
- Valid New York State Driver’s License and the ability to meet travel requirements associated with this position.
- Ability to work flexible hours which may include evenings and/or weekends, as appropriate.
