Cosmetology Instructor (Adult Education) Part-time

LOCATION: Jefferson-Lewis BOCES with initial assignment at
Bohlen Technical Center, Watertown, NY 13601

STARTING DATE: September 2, 2026 – July 21, 2027

SALARY: $45.00/hour Salary commensurate with experience.

DUTIES: Provide a program of instruction in Cosmetology.
Preparing students for success on the NYS Cosmetology Licensing Exam
Reports to the Assistant Director for Career & Technical and Adult Education programs.
Monday-Friday 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm

QUALIFICATIONS: Possession of a New York State Cosmetology License.
Acquisition on Job Skills Training Certification which requires fingerprint clearance prior to date of hire, DASA Training and SAVE Workshop, Child Abuse Identification Workshop, and application through TEACH.
